A wedding should be as authentic as your love story. I want to tell that story.

My clients are the #1 source of inspiration.

I am proud to say that I work with the finest vendors in the wedding and event business on the Eastern Shore and beyond. Whether it be floral design, photography, entertainment or catering — my collaborative approach includes  creative discussions with each vendor to ensure your event is one-of-a-kind.  You have my word, I will  execute an unforgettable party — whether a  wedding or a big-bash that calls for celebrating.

I’m a wife, a daughter and mamma to two sweet Weimaraners, Bentley and Willow Grace. Home is my happy place surrounded by all the people and things I adore. I am blessed.

Professionally, I have been in the wedding, event and hospitality industry for over 15 years. My background is diverse, spanning from event production to culinary to design and planning. Parties and weddings have always been a passion, after a little soul searching I decided to launch my own wedding planning business after my move to the Eastern Shore, it seemed like a natural next step. For me it is the perfect balance of my need to be creative and my celebratory approach to life. I’m quick on my toes and  great with details, I welcome a challenge and approach problem solving with a fearless attitude.

My ultimate  goal is for your guests to experience something truly unique, something that leaves them inspired.

Any milestone event is a reflection of you—things you love, things you feel and things you believe in. It’s  personal, to you as a couple, as a family, or as your tribe.

For me, my words don’t come out as easily by speaking as they do in the visual realm. In creating, I have time to carefully consider details and events, then paint a vivid portrait of the story we are telling. And this my friends is the start to a great event!

Together we will do just that. Then add the details. Make the story as visually appealing as possible and turn it into an epic experience.

Storytelling adds to the visual aspect, it creates emotion which in my opinion is really powerful. It should be authentic and incorporate elements not only of design but  of heartfelt gestures.  I want to tell that story.

A few rules to live by. Ladies first. Say “Yes, Ma’am” and “Yes, Sir.” You are your handshake. Write thank you notes. Monogram it. Emily Post knows all. These are the essentials. Now my love for Starbucks and social media sometimes gives me an identity crisis. Maybe I’m more modern than I think! Here are a few things I love and a few things I could do without.

Something Old, New, Borrowed, and Blue- well it’s just symbolic.

Wearing a Veil. Not to ward off spirits but because they are beautiful.

Breaking a Glass. There are a few reasons for this, some religious and others not- either way there is much sentiment in this.

Now for a few I could do without.

Seeing Each Other Before the Wedding. First looks are so special.

Rain on Your Wedding Day.  I don’t believe in luck!

Tossing the Garter. Let’s face it, sometimes it’s just awkward.

My style is a bit traditional, a bit romantic and a little unpredictable. I love all things old, lots of layers, textures and mixed patterns. An event should feel interesting and timeless, with a twist.  The process goes something like this.

Paper and calligraphy to introduce the mood. Create custom floral designs that perfectly compliment the event’s style paired with complimenting linens and embellishments.  Proper lighting to set the mood with the perfect entertainment to keep your guests dancing all night long. Add accessories to compliment the décor and finish the space.  A menu thoughtfully curated and designed  and a spirits menu equally exciting. Lastly, a brilliant team of photographers and videographers to capture it all.  And a wedding planner to lead you every step of the way. Doesn’t that sound lovely.
